Imagine: From “One church Every Day” to “One Church Every Hour”
Did you know Surge has been planting churches at a pace a little over one church planted every day?
This simple statistic represents 20+ years of developing the leadership network necessary to accomplish such a significant Kingdom-advancing movement. And we celebrate what God is doing around the world.
However, this is simply not enough. With the continued rise of the global population and the millions that still haven’t been reached with the Gospel, we need to collectively think and dream much bigger.
As we look toward the future, we envision Surge moving from planting one church every day to planting one church every hour.
One church every hour would be 8,760 churches every year. This is a big jump from the 365 needed for the one church a day number.
We believe in faith that it’s possible! This will require:
Thinking “multiplication” and scalability in every facet of our movement
Radical generosity from donors worldwide
Systems to train, send, and oversee thousands of new pastors across every region of the world
An army of intercessory prayer teams
Spirit-led strategy, favor, and miraculous partnerships
