Surge Training Translation Instructions

Translation Sample

Before moving forward with the full translation, we would first like a sample translation. Please follow the instructions below to create the sample.

Step 1

You will be translating this video.

Download the video here

Step 3

  • Translate the video. You can either write a transcription in the language you will be translating it into and read that script or record your translation “live” while the video is playing.

  • Once you have the audio recording, use any basic video editing software like iMovie and add the recorded audio in place of the English audio. Make sure it syncs as closely as possible to his speaking cadance.

Step 5

Export and send the completed video to ben@surgeproject.com here: https://surge.wetransfer.com/

Full Translation

If you have been approved to complete the full translation, follow these instructions.

Notes:

  • There are 3 courses

  • The intro course is only 8 minutes total

  • The values course is 33 minutes

  • The church planting training course is 6 hours and 27 minutes

Once all translations are completed, upload them directly to the Surge Vimeo account (email ben@surgeproject.com) for login details.

Title the videos exactly at they are titled in the English version but translated into the translation language
